Welcome to our Musical Learning Project where you will discover information about your choice of three different composers and the musical era in which they composed. You will have the opportunity to put one work by these composers under the microscope and discover some of the intricate details of how the piece works and fits into its broader context of music.
The Web Quest learning will be followed by an excursion to the Queensland Symphony Orchestra where the pieces you have studied will be played live! At the end of this Learning Project, you will able to identify characteristic features of music composed in different eras which will help to expand your fundamental understanding of music and also increase your enjoyment of music as you can see how it all works and fits together!
